HORIZON-EUROPE: Staff Exchange Action
The H-GREEN project aims to address the global energy crisis by advancing pioneering technologies and materials in the photo-, pyro-, and electro-catalysis of water splitting. The project will leverage the unique properties of functional oxide materials to facilitate the cost-effective production of green hydrogen through water splitting, aligned with climate objectives in Europe. The expert consortium consists of fundamental research organizations and industrial companies with the expertise needed to solve this critical problem. Through secondments and knowledge-sharing training, we will equip a new cluster of material scientists with the skills and expertise needed to develop H-GREEN technologies that will power the world sustainably...

The H-Green consortium is delighted to warmly congratulate project member Dr. Mihails Kusnezoff on receiving the prestigious 2026 Joseph von Fraunhofer Prize 🏆 for his outstanding contribution to the development of a high-temperature electrolysis stack for green hydrogen production. This industrial-scale technology sets new international standards and represents an important step forward in the field of green hydrogen. We wish him continued success and many further scientific achievements.

March 2024, the presentation within EU-H-Green project during an open day at Jozef Stefan Institute was organized. Early stage researchers demonstrated experimental laboratories, elucidated the project's objectives, highlighted recent advancements in the field of green energy, explained the significance of these studies for our collective future, and underscored the potential societal impact.
